- On the 1850 census this person may instead be the wife of J.B. Wiltz, and “H.” and “Ant.” who appear with the family may be her children. A Jean Baptiste Theophile Wiltz was married to Louise Irene Villanueva, and the couple had 4 children in the 1840s in New Orleans who appear in the birth records, but none of them match “H.” or “Ant.” or their dates.
Jean Baptiste Wiltz applied to marry Marie Louise Ernette in New Orleans in 1848. She may also the “L. Wiltz” in the 1850 census.
A Louise Hermina Wiltz died on 16 Mar. 1887, aged 62 (vol. 90, page 983), aged 62—so, born about 1824 or 1825. This may be her—though if so, who are those two children? An obit. names her as Louise Hermina Bernard, and a Victor Bernard was the executor of her mother’s estate in 1887:

Bernard - On Wednesday, March 16, 1887, at 6:45 a.m., Louise Hermina Bernard, née Wiltz, relict of the late Gilbert Bernard, aged 62 years.
Friends and acquaintances of the Bernard and Wiltz families are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, which will take place from her late residence, No. 405 North Rampart street, This (Thursday) Evening at 4:30, on behalf of her children.
