Triadelphia, Montgomery Co., Maryland

Place details

Notes:
In 1943 the former town was flooded by what is now the Triadelphia Reservoir when the Brighton Dam was built. It suffered two devastating floods, in 1868 and 1889 (the second an effect of the Johnstown flood). The pin is located near the place at which (I believe) the settlement was located. There is also a graveyard nearby.
