Notes |
- In the 1910 census she is in the household of John M. Evans, aged 52 (Philadelphia Ward 46). Also in the household is a "Velma Johnson," aged 12.
In the 1920 census she is still in the Evans household, but with her husband Philip Lansdale. Velma is no longer in the household.
I'd guess that her maiden name was Evans, but that she was perhaps first married to a Johnson. She would have been living with her parents, then, while her husband was in the Navy.
