  Military Service	According to Pounteny, "He was a Corp. in Capt. Tobias Belt's Co., PG co. Militia; and Warfield in his history of Anne Arundel County speaks of him as General Isaac Lansdale of the Revolution and as a 'wealthy planter.' He was chief beneficiary in the will of his uncle Thomas Lancaster in 1772." His revolutionary war history will have to be checked out; he would have been pretty old. (Maybe he was conflated with his son Isaac?)  [4]

  Notes	In 1768 he had a tract named “Collington Manor” surveyed for him in Prince George’s County, renamed “Lansdale’s Purchase” (MSA S1203 1345). On 4 Feb. 1769 Anne Tasker, as the widow and executrix of of Benjamin Tasker, conveyed “part of the land belonging to the said Benjamin Tasker called ‘Enfield Chase’ in Prince George’s County” to Isaac Lansdale for 788 pounds sterling (BB.352). His will is dated Jan 21st, 1777, probated Nov. 19th, 1777. His inventory is a second document, from Jan. 1779 from Prince George's Co.; Eleanor and Thomas Lansdale are listed as executors.
