Appears on petition dated Missouri, Oct. 13, 1861. Roll for Sept. and Oct., 1862, Present. Appears on List of Prisoners of War, Paroled at Pt. Hudson, July, 1863. Roll for Nov. and Dec., 1863, Present, with remarks: Transferred from the Watson Battery and temporarily attached to this Battery, Dec. 26, 1863, by order of Lt. Gen. Polk. Roll for Jan. 1 to April 30, 1864, Present, with remarks: Captured at Pt. Hudson, ordered to report to the Hudson Battery from the Watson Battery by Lt. Gen. Polk. Appears on Roll of Prisoners of War, Paroled as Corpl. in Watson's Batty. at Meridian, Miss., May 13, 1865. Also appears on List of Prisoners of War and paroled as Corpl. in Hudson Battery at Gainesville, Ala., May, 1865. He also applied for a Confederate pension. Gustave J.
