Obituary | Obituary from the LakeLawn Metairie Funeral home pages: Mr. Alexandre F. LeDoux, Jr., an electrical engineer, died Tuesday night at his home after a lengthy illness. He was 53. Mr. LeDoux was born in New Orleans and graduated as a valedictorian of Jesuit High School in 1971. He attended Tulane University School of Engineering on a National Merit Scholarship, graduating with honors in 1975. He was employed by Chevron USA as a production engineer for over twenty years in Louisiana and two years in Sumatra, Indonesia. Mr. LeDoux had also been employed by Nelson Engineering until his retirement a few years ago due to illness. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society, Louisiana Engineering Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexandre Francis LeDoux and Louise Brasher LeDoux, of New Orleans. | |
