Cornwell—On Saturday, February 15, 1936, at 4:19 o’clock a.m., George Edward Cornwell, husband of Mildred Moore, father of George Edward, Jr., Robert and Lee Cornwell; brother of Mrs. E.M. Bertel, Mrs. Bessie Thompson and J. Trainer Cornwell; nephew of Mrs. Alice Shubert and Mr. T.A. Clarke.
Services will be held at the funeral home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, Inc., 4127 S. Claiborne avenue, near Milan street, this Sunday afternoon, February 16, 1936, at 3:30 o’clock.
Interment in Metairie cemetery. |

In his WWI draft registration, he says he was born 29 Jan. 1883, that he's living at 2402 Octavia in New Orleans, that he's married to Mildred Lee Cornwell, and that he's a cotton broker.
