GROSCH - On Saturday, March 23, 1957, at 8'oclock a.m., Henry J. Grosch, husband by first marriage of the late Bessie Adams, beloved husband of Christine Albers; father of Joseph, James, Jules, Edward, Anthony, Jerry, and Henry J. Grosch, Mrs. J.P. Davenport, Mrs. T.J. Schulingkamp, Mrs. Leonard Cline, Mrs. Lamar Ard, and Mrs. George Persohn Jr., and the late Noel Grosch and Mrs. Ethel Murry; brother of Charles Grosch of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Lelia Gerstner and the late John and Adam Grosch; also survived by many grandchildren; aged 69 years. A native of this city.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place on Monday, March 25, 1957, at 11 o'clock a.m., from the funeral home of Lamana-Panno-Fallo, Inc., 625 North Rampart street, near Municipal Auditoriu. Religious services by Rev. George P. Ellerbrake.
Interment in Lafayette No. 2 cemetery. |

- According to his 1917 WWI registration, he was living at 3014 Thalia, working as a butcher at Hoch Bros., and claimed an exemption because he had children aged 6-4-3-2.
He listed himself as having been at Gunner, 2nd class, in the U.S. Navy for 8 years.
His first wife died in 1950, so there must have been a divorce. [1]
