Notes |
- Notice of wedding, New Orleans Item, 14 Nov. 1922, p4:
T.W. Campbell, assistant clerk of the council in the Fitzpatrick term, and clerk in the Capdeveille term, married Miss. M.H. Maupay, who was the council’s stenographer. Campbell wrote the manuals and the histories of the council. He was elected clerk of the house of representatives when Bob Landry died. He had been a steamboat clerk before 1892 and I suppose he is still telling the younger men how much better the life on the river was then than it is now.
