- She graduated from Rice in 1935, the same year JL Sr. graduated from Harvard. She was always very proud of her school. She wanted to get married, but her husband-to-be needed to delay because he was still at law school. So, she took a trip to Europe July of 1935 (she really didn't want to go!), and they got married after Jack graduated from Harvard in 1936.

They moved to Essex Farm, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland full time in 1972, though for many years they kept an apartment in Cleveland. There they lived the rest of their lives.
